Hotels must adopt eco-friendly practices, says researcher

THE synergy between heritage and environmental management at hotels in George Town and Melaka is a good example for hotels to be more eco-friendly.

Researcher Dr Angela Tritto said some examples can be found in the traditional architecture of shophouses as its structure and building materials are carefully preserved and can function as eco-buildings.
