Subang Jaya half marathon strengthens community bonds

More than 3,000 people took part in Subang Jaya’s first half marathon event under four categories.

Walkers, runners, families and people in wheelchairs took part in the inaugural Subang Jaya Half Marathon 2025 aimed at promoting community bonds and inclusivity.

Previously a 10km race called Larian Komuniti Subang Jaya 10K, the expanded event drew some 3,000 participants in four categories – 21km, 10km, 5km fun run and 5km disabled challenge for wheelchair users.

Subang Jaya deputy mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali flagged off runners in SS16, Subang Jaya in Selangor.

The half marathon was organised by Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) in collaboration with Puncak Ventures SRA Sdn Bhd and Selangor Para Athletics Association.
