FIFA World Cup 2026 fever is set to reach its climax as Spain and Argentina face off in the final in the early hours of Monday morning.

With kick-off scheduled for 3am Malaysian time, venues across the Klang Valley are preparing to welcome thousands of football fans eager to watch the sport’s biggest match.

Among them is Souled Out, a restobar chain with six outlets in Malaysia.

Its operations manager Yuzairy Yatin, also known as Zack, said the chain had been hosting World Cup viewing parties for more than two decades, creating a communal experience for football supporters throughout the tournament.

“Our patrons will receive a contest card, which they can fill in and submit for a chance to win cash vouchers worth a total of RM50,000,” he said during the semi-final screening of England vs Argentina at Souled Out Kuala Lumpur in Sri Hartamas.

Yuzairy expects around 2,500 fans to gather at the Sri Hartamas outlet for the final.

The match will also be shown at their Bangsar South, Bukit Jalil and Ampang outlets in the Klang Valley, as well as Souled Out in Genting Highlands, Pahang, and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

“Despite many matches kicking off in the early hours of the morning, the response has been encouraging, with fans continuing to flock to our outlets,” he said.

For those seeking alternative venues, a range of public and commercial locations across the Klang Valley will also be screening the final.

  •  LaLaport BBCC will also broadcast the match at its semi-outdoor Ground Plaza on giant screens, with free admission for the public.
