Maybe you’ve been toying with the idea of visiting Kelantan, but is wary of the long drive. Worse still, you might end up getting stuck in the inevitable traffic jams.

Well, why not give travelling by train a chance then?

Take advantage of the offer by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), specifically of its Railway to See Malaysia (RTSM) promotion for Ramadan 2026.

The “RTSM Excursion Ramadan Edition” is a return trip from Kuala Lumpur to Tumpat in Kelantan, which is scheduled for next month.

On March 6, the special train will depart from KL Sentral to Tumpat. Then on March 8, it will return from Tumpat to KL Sentral.

Ticket prices are based on the seat type. There are four seat types available: seating coach (Superior), seating coach (Premier), sleeper berth (Superior Top Bunk) and sleeper berth (Superior Bottom Bunk).

You can check the seat availability on KTMB’s social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.

For ticket bookings, you can do so on the KITS Style app, at a ticketing kiosk near you or via online.ktmb.com.my.
