AirAsia has introduced an enhanced version of its iconic bright red cabin crew uniform.

The enhanced uniform made its runway debut at the 2025 edition of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW), an annual fashion event that the airline has partnered with for a decade in support of Asean talent and innovation.

Providing better comfort, fit and function, the enhanced uniform not only features Malaysia-Indonesia regional craftsmanship but also an upgraded fabric blend, which includes up to 40% recycled textile materials.

“This is not just a change in fabric, it is a change in mindset,” Suhaila Hassan, AirAsia Group Head of Cabin Crew, said in a press statement.

“Our cabin crew spend most of their time in uniform, and it matters to us that what they wear is not only functional but also reflects the values we stand for.”

With a softer feel and better flexibility, the lightweight uniform allows crew members to perform their duties with comfort and confidence.

AirAsia X also introduced its modest uniform variant for routes like Jeddah and Medina.
