Although always classic and timeless, floral prints are flourishing at a number of design houses that they are currently incredibly trendy and well, fresh as a daisy!
From big, bold florals at Balenciaga to sparkling ones at Louis Vuitton, the pretty print is showing up everywhere.
Most striking has to be the one from Balenciaga’s Summer 2024 range, which is a sleeveless dress with large floral print.
Some might say the pattern resembles it actually adds a touch of the unexpected – a kind of a vintage charm that’s effortlessly cool.
Something similar can be seen at Kenzo, where a long, trench coat-cum-dress is swathed in a large floral pattern, creating a dramatic look.

Kate Spade’s Summer 2024 collection has everything you might need for a warm-weather getaway, including tropical-inspired floral prints.
Case in point is a colourful floral drop-waist dress that spells out tropical sophistication.
Adding to the island vibe is a handbag designed like a leaf and adorned with a 3D flower. Such a botanical beauty.

The sparkly number from the brand’s Cruise 2025 collection is sure to outshine the rest and light up any room with its dazzling design.
On the local front, Styled By Peter Lum’s latest collection showcased at the recent
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2024 featured a number of outfits with alluring floral patterns.

While it may enhance your feminine appeal, one thing to take note of when it comes to wearing florals is the size of the print.
Big prints can draw attention and sometimes make the wearer appear larger.
To create the illusion of slimness, it’s generally better to wear smaller prints as they tend to give a more streamlined appearance.
