The modern women of today certainly do not have it easy. Not only are they required to juggle the tasks of being a wife and mother, most have their own careers to look to, as well.

For jewellery designer Jenn Low, it involves finding the best way to get things done. And when it comes to her style choices, she embraces a more carefree school of thought by picking out versatile fashion essentials.

Low also turns to social media for inspiration, which she believes can keep people well connected. To her, being comfortable in your own skin is the secret to great style.

Pandemic or not, she believes in prioritising comfort as it can help a person get through the day – whether to do with fashion, or keeping your spirits up and staying motivated.

What is your favourite go-to look?

In the last year, I’ve gravitated towards outfits in happy colours. I love styling pastel or tie-dye vintage tees, with high-waisted shorts or denim, plus sneakers or dad-sandals. To be more dressed up, I’ll switch out flats for heels, and throw on a coloured blazer.

What are your three essential style and beauty items?

I go everywhere with my Wanderlust + Co jewellery, as they instantly accent every outfit. My favourites are the Nameplate Necklace; which has my kids’ names Olivia and Oscar, Tennis Bracelet, Connect Bracelet, and Double Dome Ring. My beauty essentials are my Fresh Seaberry Hand Cream and Dr Jart’s Ceramidin Cream, as they keep my skin hydrated and soothes sensitivity.

How has the pandemic changed your style?

I enjoy being comfortable and feeling put together at the same time. I reach often for silk slip dresses, whenever I am heading out in the evening, as it’s so easy to style. I see a style shift for most working mums globally through the pandemic, as we juggle work-from-home and online home-schooling, among other things.

Who is your style icon? What's your inspiration?

Definitely (model) Hailey Bieber’s style of late, as she comes across so happy in her own skin, and always looks good. I also love seeing how our #WCOgirlgang community style their jewels, and am often inspired by their looks.
