You may recognise South Korean actress Claudia Kim from her role on the Netflix series Marco Polo. But you can’t miss her as the beautiful and smart Dr Cho in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
She is already a TV star overseas, and has served as an ambassador for Dior Korea and been the face of Acuvue, Samsung and Amore Pacific. Recently, Kim became the face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in Korea.
Kim said her popularity has escalated since starring in the Avengers and sealing the deal as the ambassador for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
“I think I’m more recognised more so in Korea because of the Bobbi Brown advertisements. I was just at the duty free store and people there recognised me. They were so happy,” said the Seoul-born beauty during an interview with make-up extraordinaire Bobbi Brown on yahoo.com
When asked about her flawless skin, Kim revealed it was important to stay hydrated.
“Staying hydrated is the most important thing. Every three or four hours, I put cream on. On the plane, I always use a facial mask. I drink lots of water. And I train a lot these days, which really helps,” said the 30-year-old, who keeps fit by doing strength training, jujitsu and horse riding.
To stay slim, she is careful about her diet and consumes healthy food.
“I have two or three protein shakes a day. I have tons of egg whites and lots of salmon. I stick to super foods - avocados and chia seeds,” explained Kim, who finds it hard to resist dark chocolates.
Brown also asked if there she has ever felt insecure about her looks, and Kim said she felt “insecure about my looks all the time”. “It keeps coming back because you’re out there taking photos and people are going to critique you. It’s always a battle that I have internally, but working out really helps.
“I think health also has to do with having inner peace and really fighting for that. I have such great friends who not only encourage me, but also really help me to stick to my core values and why I’m doing this, and what I’m doing this for.”
