Chinese New Year is more than a festival or a celebration – it is also a time for families to get together, for friends to meet, and for building meaningful reunions and cherished connections with loved ones and business partners alike.

From joyous occasions to the grandest of celebrations, Chinese New Year is full of memorable and meaningful moments. These gatherings deserve meaningful gifts, ones that not only symbolise sophistication, thoughtfulness, and shared experiences, but also celebrate the joy and happiness of these treasured moments.

This Chinese New Year, Glenfiddich has worked with renowned contemporary ink artist Zhang Yu on a series of limited edition releases that are perfect as a CNY gift.

The limited edition design by Zhang features an imagined encounter between the iconic Glenfiddich stag and the legendary, mythical Nine-Coloured Deer King – two symbols of heritage, wisdom, and harmony – thus illustrating the way Glenfiddich bridges traditions to bring people closer together.

Recognised as ‘one of the most outstanding ink wash masters’ in art, Zhang’s work is closely tied to ancient Chinese tales. She specialises in blending cultural elements from East and West through various creative forms, including painting, drawing, design, and film.

Her artwork will be featured on four of Glenfiddich’s most iconic expressions, tailored to fit every occasion and celebration during this festive season.

For joyous moments, you have the Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old, a beautifully crafted and delicately balanced whisky with distinctively fresh with fruity notes emerging into a symphony of butterscotch, malt, and subtle oak for a mellow finish.

The Glenfiddich 15-Year-Old is perfect for vibrant gatherings, with its intriguingly complex aroma, and a full-bodied and silky smooth palate delivering layers of sherry oak, marzipan, and warming spices for a satisfyingly rich finish.

Long-awaited reunions deserve a special whisky, and the distinguished Glenfiddich 18-Year-Old is just the dram for you, with notes of orchard fruits, baked apple, and oak that deliver dried fruit, candy peel, and dates on the palate for a warming finish.

And finally, for the grandest celebrations, it can only be the Glenfiddich Reserva Rum Cask 21-Year-Old. Patiently matured for 21 years and finished in rum casks, this is an exquisite whisky full of the signature notes of a classic Glenfiddich, accompanied by a rich, warm spiciness and buttery rum flavours.

These limited edition sets are available at Glenfiddich's exclusive CNY pop-up events at Publika KL (from now until Jan 26), Food Merchant Pavilion Bukit Jalil (from now until Jan 26), and Mercato Pavilion KL (from now until Jan 31).

You can also personalise your bottle with auspicious greetings for your loved ones, and stand a chance to win attractive prizes for every limited-edition gift pack purchase.

The limited edition gift packs are also available for purchase in retail outlets and premium establishments across Malaysia.
