Celebrate this Raya with Maybank offerings

FOR the past two years, it has been a roller coaster of emotions for Malaysians and it has definitely changed the way festivities are celebrated in the country.

Most Malaysians have had to experience their festival celebrations away from their family, relatives and friends.

Aside from the limitations to celebrating festive seasons with family members and struggling to adjust to living in the new norm, especially when the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2019, Malaysians have also faced financial difficulties that led to withdrawal of savings, reliance on government assistance and a lot more.

Maybank believes it’s important for people to grow together, financially and spiritually.

As such, the bank has chosen #IkatanDisyukuri as its Raya theme from April 14 to May 31 this year to remind families to be grateful and cherish all the bonds they have in their lives, not only the relationships with the people but also strengthen their financial health.

While families plan for the joyous festive celebrations and show appreciation to their loved ones, the bank is extending attractive offers and discounts, diversified products as well as exciting prizes for Maybank card users.

Each product has its own different duration and related campaigns to encourage more families to save and enjoy better offers when buying gifts for their families.

Festive deals and discounts

This year, with the economy opening up, travel bans lifting and more physical activities being allowed, Malaysians will seize the opportunity to make up for their lost experiences with the comeback of traditional ways of celebrating this festive season.

Hence, the bank has a lot of good deals and discounts for different categories of items that people can shop for themselves and their loved ones.

The bank is offering up to 20% discount for beauty, dining, home and living, fashion and more. This offers will allow families to explore the selection of gifts for their loved ones with their Maybank cards until May 31.

On top of that, the more they spend with Maybank or Maybank Islamic Cards, they stand a chance to win attractive prizes such as a Mercedes Benz A200, a Honda City Hatchback 1.5L E, weekly cashback and other fantastic prizes, such as duit Raya worth RM5,000, 70” Samsung smart TV and 20gm gold bar.

They can also enjoy extra savings and discounts for online purchases such as through Lazada, Shopee and Zalora.

Another way to strengthen familial bonds is to achieve goals together such as saving together. Maybank has made saving fun because you can invite your friends and family members to save and grow together.

It has introduced ‘Save and Grow Together-gether’, where supportive family members and friends can save and unlock cash prizes up to RM110,000 (campaign period until June 30). The bank has currently unlocked Level 3, so if you want to be in the running to win bigger prizes, get your friends or family to do it together.

Moreover, families can maximise their Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) investment with payment as low as RM42 per month, for the future of their loved ones. The investment is also a form of saving for a more comfortable future.

They can use it for the renovation of their home, upgrading their car, marriage expenses and for further studies at the renowned institutions of higher learning. This can be easily applied online, without going to the bank’s branch.

On top of this, there are also exclusive offers to build up a strong financial portfolio through a wide range of solutions from Maybank Privilege, where you can be rewarded with special gifts.

Among others, there are also productive Raya returns for businessmen, where they stand a chance to win a Toyota Hilux and cash prizes this festive season (campaign until Dec 31).
