British architect David Chipperfield wins Pritzker prize

British architect and urban planner David Chipperfield has won the 2023 Pritzker Prize, organisers of the profession's most prestigious award announced March 7.

The 69-year-old was honoured for "timeless modern design that confronts climate urgencies, transforms social relationships and reinvigorates cities", they said in a statement.
