Ever wanted to have a nice smooth pint of Guinness Draught in the comfort of your own home? Well, with Guinness Draught In A Can, now you, er, can!
Recently launched in Malaysia, the Guinness Draught In A Can (not to be confused with the canned Guinness Foreign Extra Stout) offers the smooth and creamy texture of a pub-poured pint, including the famous foam of head that is so essential to the beer.
This is made possible with the revolutionary Guinness “widget” inside the can. The widget basically uses an ingenious nitrogen-filled capsule that surges with bubbles when the can is opened, so you get a beer that is almost identical to a Guinness draught at the pub.
And yes, the widget looks like a plastic ball and is inside the can, so don’t be alarmed to see it after you’ve finished pouring.
I recently got to do a side-by-side comparison of the Guinness Draught In A Can and one from the tap. Taste-wise, they both taste almost the same; the one from the can is even a little bit richer and maltier.
If you wanna have Guinness Draught at home at your own convenience, then this is the can for you. It’s now available in selected 7-Eleven outlets and supermarkets.
