Malaysian glass maestros eager to share knowledge with youths to preserve the craft

Handcrafting glass into pieces of art is a skilled craft and local glassblower Kamarul Faizy Roslan, 52, has is happy to share his knowledge with anyone who is interested in learning the craft.

The Langkawi-based man is among the handful of local glass crafters specialising in glassblowing. He trained in crystal production at Orrefors Glass in Sweden and Whanganui Regional Community Polytechnic in Whanganui, New Zealand.
