Following the inaugural LIV Hospitality Design Awards 2020 held earlier this year, its organisers have recently announced the launch of the second edition of the Awards.
The upcoming LIV Hospitality Design Awards 2021 is open to architects and interior designers around the world who have created inspiring projects in the hospitality arena – from co-living spaces, boutique hotels and beach resorts to fine dining restaurants, lounges and pop-up bars.
“Following a successful launch last year, where we received over 400 projects from 55 countries, we are thrilled to launch the
second edition of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards,” said co-founder and programme director Astrid Hebert.
“The programme puts the spotlight on all architects and interior designers who have created unique properties and is an exceptional opportunity for owners and operators to showcase their design vision,” said Hebert.
With over 60 categories, the programme is one of the most comprehensive design competitions dedicated to the hospitality industry.
A 35-member jury panel comprising architects, designers, hoteliers, developers and leaders in interior design and architecture will select and award eight grand prizes to professionals and students. The panel will look out for new concepts, innovations, sustainability, shapes, materials and properties design stories.
LIV Hospitality Design Awards is a sibling programme of the LIT Lighting Design Award (LIT), The International Design Awards (IDA), and The BLT Built Design Awards.
Submissions are now open for the LIV Hospitality Design Awards 2021. Entries received before Oct 31, 2021 will enjoy an early fees discount of 10%. The closing date for submissions is March 18, 2022.
