Hong Kong TV personality Helen To, who is known for her travel shows, took to social media on Aug 12 to share a couple of new photos of herself out and about.

What caught the attention of her followers was how considerably slimmer she looked compared with photos she had shared less than three months earlier.

In the new photos, To poses next to a luxury car in a green mini-skirt and dark T-shirt, showing off her noticeably slimmer legs and more defined features.

The 51-year-old – daughter of late Golden Harvest film executive To Wai Tung – has previously revealed that she took steroids to manage eczema, which resulted in substantial weight gain.

According to an article by dimsumdaily.hk, she once jokingly described herself as being “heavier than a truck” to illustrate how much weight she had gained.

Her latest transformation, however, drew plenty of compliments from followers, with many saying she looked more youthful and like her younger self.

Some also asked about her weight-loss secret and sought tips on how they could achieve similar results.

Others pointed out that she had looked good even when she had a fuller figure.

Amid the compliments, however, some followers speculated that she might have turned to slimming medication.

When one person directly asked which slimming pills she had taken, To was quick to set the record straight, reported dimsumdaily.

“I have never taken any slimming pills! Do not be misled,” she responded.
