HK star Kenneth Ma returns to work 2 days after dad's funeral, praised for professionalism

Hong Kong actor Kenneth Ma laid his father, who was a former engineer, to rest on Dec 11, holding a modest funeral attended by family and close friends.

Reports said the 51-year-old appeared visibly emotional as he entered the crematorium, accompanied by his wife, fellow TVB star Roxanne Tong.

Known for his dedication to his craft, Ma reportedly returned to work just two days after.

According to Oriental Daily, he was seen filming his new drama, The Airport Diary, at the airport on Dec 13.

Onlookers who happened to encounter Ma remarked on his professionalism, noting that he carried himself with composure despite the recent loss of his father.

A tourist who bumped into the actor also said he looked very stylish, adding: "He looks so good and has hardly aged!"

Many netizens have since praised Ma for his unwavering commitment to acting and his exceptional professionalism.

"He just attended his father's funeral and has already adjusted himself to work," one person commented.

Another wrote: "He jumped back into work so quickly – such a hardworking person!"
