With on-camera opportunities growing scarce, Hong Kong actor Wong You-nam has refused to sit idle, opting instead to take on part-time work as a bus driver.
The 42-year-old recently drew the attention of several sharp-eyed passengers while driving along the airport route.
Even wearing a mask, he was quickly recognised by those on board.
A former member of the Cantopop group Shine, Wong previously told Hong Kong media that he needed alternative sources of income to get through periods without acting projects.
According to China Press, he's required to complete 120 hours of driving every six months.
It's understood that, in addition to buses, Wong's also licensed to drive taxis, with a heavy vehicle license reportedly next on his list.
He also runs a YouTube channel focused on cars and has tried his hand at racing, earning him the nickname "King Of All Vehicles" in Hong Kong's entertainment scene.
Many netizens have since praised Wong for his hardworking mindset and independent spirit, while others expressed hopes of catching a ride on his bus someday.
In response to the positive reactions, the actor remains humble.
"Being a bus driver is not easy at all. I believe everyone who works hard for their livelihood deserves our utmost respect," he wrote on social media.
Wong kickstarted his acting career in 2002.
Since then, he has starred in a projects like Ip Man (2008), The Jade And The Pearl (2010), Gangster Payday (2014) and Crisis Negotiators (2024), among others.
