Hong Kong singer Alan Tam is set to give Malaysian fans double the joy, with back-to-back concerts in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 28 and 29.
The Cantopop icon will take the stage at 8pm at Unifi Arena KL in Bukit Jalil, with the shows marking the first international stop of his Unforgettable World Tour.
More than two years in the making, the ambitious tour celebrates Tam’s remarkable 57-year career, bringing together some of the timeless hits that have captivated generations of fans.
Concertgoers can also look forward to an immersive experience, with the production featuring specially designed stages and meticulously curated setlists.
“This tour is about gathering our hearts as one to create one last, beautiful memory together at a concert of this scale.
“I will deliver my best, and I hope we can walk down memory lane together, share the laughter, and add another shining chapter to the many wonderful memories we’ve created over the years,” Tam, 76, said in a statement.
Tam, a member of the beloved Hong Kong pop band The Wynners, is widely regarded as one of the key figures in developing the 1980s Cantopop scene.
As a solo artiste, he’s known for tracks like Illusion, Foggy Love and Love Trap, among others.
With The Wynners, the singer has released hits like Sha-La-La-La-La, Save Your Kisses For Me and more.
