Rising star Anna Jobling has reached another milestone in her flourishing career.

The 25-year-old actress, who has been making a name for herself in the Indonesian film industry, was named Outstanding Asian Star at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2025.

The event was held on Oct 2 at Yeouido KBS Hall in Seoul, South Korea, and was broadcast live on SBS TV.

Anna’s win was for her performance in the TV3 drama Hai Cinta, Dengarkanlah, also streaming on Tonton.

“I am truly touched and deeply grateful for this recognition. Thank you to the Seoul International Drama Awards for giving Malaysia the opportunity to shine on the international stage," Anna said in a press statement.

“This victory is very meaningful because it is not only for myself, but also for all the fans, my family and the production team who have never stopped supporting me.”

Anna also expressed her gratitude to Tonton and TV3 for being part of her artistic journey, calling the trophy a “shared pride” and “a special gift that I bring home for Malaysia”.

On Instagram, Anna shared photos of herself at the awards ceremony where she managed to take photos with Korean stars including IU, Ju Ji-hoon and Ok Taec-yeon.

The win marks a new chapter for the Lembayung actress and she hopes the recognition will inspire a new generation of Malaysian actors to dream big and go further.

Anna is the second Malaysian to win at this prestigious awards ceremony. Last year, Siti Saleha received the same award for her role in the drama SeOfis.
