Hong Kong actor Lee Lung Kei has reportedly moved out of the 700sq ft (65sq m) home he once shared with his ex-fiancee Chris Wong in the New Territories.
Hong Kong's East Week magazine recently photographed the 75-year-old entering his new residence, located in a remote area surrounded by warehouses and parking lots for heavy vehicles.
Previously, Lee shared that he had booked a 1,000sq ft (92sq m) apartment in Zhuhai in preparation for starting a new chapter with Wong, 39, after their marriage.
However, their relationship fell apart after Wong – a Chinese national whose real name is Wang Qingxia – was exposed for already being married and having a teenage son.
Despite the breakup, Lee admitted he still has lingering feelings for his former fiancee.
"I loved her too deeply. Such a huge blow isn't something you can easily let go of," he said.
The former TVB star revealed that the pair are still in contact, with Wong recently messaging him to remind him to dress warmly as the weather turned cooler.
He also hinted that there could still be a chance for reconciliation if Wong becomes single again.
"Maybe one day she'll message me and say, 'I'm divorced now. Truly divorced!' Then we'll see what happens."
For the record, Lee and Wong went public with their May-December romance in 2020.
The actor previously revealed that, in order to marry Wong, he voluntarily transferred all his properties to his former wife as part of their divorce settlement.
When Wong later became entangled in legal troubles, he spent hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong dollars hiring two barristers and three solicitors to assist her.
"I invested so much effort, money and energy on her. If I had ulterior motives, then I'm truly a failure," he said.
