Hong Kong actor Wong He, 58, best known for TVB’s Burning Flame trilogy, revealed that life overseas has been far from easy.
Wong, who has been battling kidney failure since 2020 and is relying on dialysis, left Hong Kong for London in 2021 before relocating to Taiwan later that same year.
In May this year, he disclosed on his YouTube channel that he was sexually assaulted on two separate occasions in Taiwan in 2024, claiming he had been drugged each time.
Another previous revelation concerned an incident that happened while he was living in Britain.
Recalling this experience, Wong said he once found himself unable to pay for a meal.
A technical glitch prevented him from using digital payments on his phone, while his credit card had been suspended over suspected fraudulent activity, according to Dimsum Daily.
“I ordered a Coke and some noodles, but when it came time to pay, I couldn’t complete the transaction. It was so embarrassing!” he said, adding that a friend eventually stepped in to help.
Now, Wong is claiming he's being stalked and framed.
He uploaded a video on Instagram recently, saying he had conducted an “experiment” to expose those tailing him.
Wong explained that after turning off his phone’s location services, two people suddenly appeared beside him, flanking him on the left and right.
He also noticed two private cars parked by the roadside.
He likened the scene to “throwing a piece of bread into a fish pond, and immediately all the fish rush over to grab it.”
Fans have since expressed concern for his health and well-being, while some online users voiced worry that his claims may reflect paranoia.
Wong is a former police officer before joining TVB. As an actor he often took on law enforcement roles on screen. He has not been active in acting in recent years.
