Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has called off her engagement to bandmate Justin Long, weeks after confirming they had a date and venue selected.

The King of Pop’s only daughter, 27, announced the news Thursday when countering Daily Mail’s speculation that recent photos of her crying were due to the anniversary of Jackson’s 2009 death.

“Those are breakup tears,” the “bandaid” singer tweeted in response to the outlet. “Y’all are fkn reaching again.”

Paris Jackson did not elaborate on the cause nor date of the split, though the remarks come just over a month after she told Access Hollywood that she and Long – not to be confused with the Barbarian and Dodgeball star of the same name – had already selected a venue for their wedding.

“We’re planning, the dress is being made, the date has been picked by an astrologer, because I’m from LA,” said Jackson in mid-June.

Jackson announced the engagement news in early December, in a since-deleted birthday tribute to Long. The Instagram carousel featured a snap of him on one knee.

The former couple’s “indescribable whirlwind” romance reportedly kicked off in 2022.

Just over a week after going public with the happy news, Jackson had another milestone to celebrate in early January, when she commemorated “5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol.”

The Daily News has reached out to reps for Jackson for comment. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
