Hong Kong actress Carina Lau, 59, and her husband Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, 62, have been married for years, each maintaining their own social circles while sharing a common passion for hiking and fitness.

On Monday (Feb 3), Lau updated her social media with photos from her latest outdoor outing, but what caught netizens’ attention was an unexpected detail – did Leung leave her behind?

In the photo, Lau is seen wearing a baseball cap with her jacket hood pulled over it, likely to keep warm.

She appears fresh-faced, opting to go makeup-free. Her caption simply reads: "First day of spring, 14°C."

While the post seemed like a routine update, some sharp fans quickly noticed something intriguing in the background of her selfie – a man in a windbreaker walking ahead.

His build and posture closely resembled Leung’s, but rather than slowing down to wait for Lau, he continued moving forward without turning back.

Having a little fun, some of the fans' comments went along the line of, "Oh no! Did Tony leave you behind?" and "Wait... is that Tony ahead of you?"

While others surmised that even though the couple is hiking together they choose to do it at their own pace.

A few expressed concern for Lau, reminding her to dress warmly as temperatures in Hong Kong had started to drop.

Whether or not the man in the photo is really her husband, Lau appears to be enjoying her time outdoors.

Of course, the actress also shared of her being indoors like when she posted plenty of photos of her on Chinese New Year day, looking fabulous ... and no Leung in sight.
