The financial struggles continue for Hong Kong singer Steven Cheung and his wife Au Yin Man.

Cheung, who has taken on various jobs to make ends meet, is seeking part-time work ahead of the Chinese New Year holidays.

With his company closing for the festive season, his income will be temporarily halted, adding pressure to his family of six.

The 40-year-old recently reached out for help via social media, posting an Instagram Story that read: “My company closes the day after tomorrow. Are there any part-time jobs available?”

Au, 32, also shared her frustration about their financial difficulties.

“Really, the whole family can jump off a building. Many businesses have closed early for the CNY holidays. I don’t know when we will be able to work,” she wrote in an Instagram update.

Her cryptic message sparked concern among netizens, who quickly left supportive comments. Others also urged the couple to stay strong for their four children – aged between one and five.

Cheung, who was part of the Cantopop duo Boyz, has been struggling to secure performance opportunities since his 2019 cheating scandal.

At the time, he announced that he was marrying Au while still in a relationship with Hong Kong model-actress April Leung.

Just recently, Au expressed concern over their inability to repay their mounting debts, adding that life was playing a cruel joke on her.

In the past year, Cheung has taken jobs such as cable wiring, construction work, and distributing flyers and condoms to support his family.

He was spotted working at a snack shop in July 2023 and turned to online crowdfunding in March 2024.
