Cult Australian soap opera Neighbours is to return to television screens next year after being cancelled by Britain's Channel 5, streaming site Amazon Freevee said Thursday.

The final episode of Neighbours aired in July, featuring a series of nostalgic cameos from long-gone characters who are now household names such as Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce and Margot Robbie.
