Uyaina Arshad confessed she was nervous when she found that one of the filming locations for Siapa Tutup Lampu? was a morgue.
She shared this to mStar – The Star’s Malay portal – during the premiere of the film which opened at cinemas nationwide on Thursday (Nov 25).
According to the 29-year-old actress-host, they were at a hospital morgue from late in the evening until dawn, the next day, shooting the scene.
Though admitting she was scared, she soldiered on and took it as an acting challenge.
However, she was grateful that there were a lot of people at the morgue with her during the shoot, which was why she felt brave enough to film the scene at all.
“If it was just me, I would’ve been to scared to enter,” she told mStar.
Luckily, there were no supernatural occurrences throughout the filming period of Siapa Tutup Lampu? unlike what happened in her previous horror project – the 2020 horror telemovie Bercinta Dengan Jin.
“We filmed a scene where we summoned the spirits; after that there were disturbances on set throughout the last day of filming,” she recalled.
Uyaina continued that if she was offered another role in a horror film, she would read the script carefully first before accepting it.
