ACTRESS Uyaina Arshad (pic) has announced that she is pregnant with her third child, describing the news as an unexpected blessing, reported Harian Metro.
Uyaina, whose full name is Saidatul Naseha Uyaina Arshad, 33, shared the good news on social media.
“Hoping this baby will be as funny as her mama,” Uyaina wrote.
She added that the pregnancy was not planned, calling it a gift from God.
Her social media post was flooded with congratulatory wishes and prayers from her followers and celebrities.
Uyaina also wrapped up a nine-year stint as the host of the talk show Wanita Hari Ini.
She expressed her gratitude to the production team for trusting her to helm the programme for nearly a decade, marking the end of a meaningful journey in her career.
Uyaina married musician Raja Syahiran on Dec 21, 2021, and they have two children.
> More than 3,000 illegally planted durian trees within the Gunung Benum Forest Reserve in Pahang have been cut down in an 18-day operation by the Pahang Forestry Department, reported Kosmo!.
Its director Zainuddin Jamaluddin said the enforcement covered an area of 250ha.
He said in addition to destroying various durian varieties such as Musang King and D24, the team also removed other illegally planted crops including petai and fruiting trees.
“Since the enforcement operation was carried out, we have not received any objections or threats from farmers.
“They accept the department’s firm action,” he told reporters.
A notice was issued for farmers over the illegal encroachment, stating that those found guilty could face prosecution under Section 32 of the National Forestry Act 1984.
Punishments include fines up to RM50,000 or imprisonment not exceeding five years, or both.
