The character Ip Man – portrayed by Donnie Yen in four Ip Man films – is already a fantastic character.

But what would happen if Ip Man had superpowers?

Well, one fan turned that thought into a two-minute video titled The Return Of Ip Man.

The 58-year-old martial artist recently shared that particular video on his Instagram.

The Chinese actor wrote in the caption: “... it’s absolutely hilarious and brilliant. Ipman didn’t have to join the super secret boy band! #superhero #avengers"

In it, Ip Man has the ability to fly – launching into the air like Superman – and he can also unleash massive blasts of heat vision.

As previously reported, Yen is one of the cast members of the upcoming film John Wick 4, headlined by Keanu Reeves.

An Aug 9 post by Yen on his Instagram showed that he was still in the midst of shooting the film. John Wick 4 began production on June 29 and is tentatively scheduled to open at cinemas May 2022.
