New singer Yonghuan launched her music career with some help from her dad, Malaysian artiste Eric Moo who had set up a music production company in Shanghai, China.

Although she is following in her father's footsteps to become a singer, the 21-year-old is glad that she inherited her looks from her mum, Taiwanese former model Pang Meijun.

She held a virtual press conference recently with Moo, to introduce her first single What Is It About You.

“I have inherited all the good things from my mother. I only (inherited) a little bit from my dad. My mother is better looking. I am very happy that my face is a copy of my mum's. I only have my dad’s nose,” said Yonghuan about her parents, as reported by a Singaporean news portal.

Apart from getting her looks and musical talents from her parents, what Yonghuan appreciates the most is having their full support.

She shared that while her mum is always encouraging, her doting dad lets her do what she wants to do.

“He supports me wholeheartedly and he’s given me this opportunity to develop my music career,” added Yonghuan who is taking a break from her studies at the prestigious Berklee College Of Music in the United States to kickstart her music career.

She had returned to Taiwan, where her family lives, at the start of the pandemic last year.
