The new South Korean variety programme Sea Of Hope may turn out to be a big draw for music fans.

Understandably so, since the show’s concept is for its celeb participants – singers Shinee’s Onew, AKMU’s Lee Suhyun and Yoon Jong-shin, as well as actors Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun and Lee Ji-ah – to perform music and prepare food for guests at a seaside bar.

For its premiere episode on June 29 (in South Korea), Blackpink’s Rose made a special appearance as a “part-timer”.

During the episode, the 24-year-old also performed John Mayer’s Slow Dancing In A Burning Room with Lee Suhyun, Onew and Yoon providing the backing vocals.

Rose's cover has even caught the attention of American singer-songwriter Mayer who tweeted “This is gorgeous”.
