Hong Kong actress Kaman Kong has certainly got the hang of livestreaming since leaving TVB in 2025 and building her presence on social media.
In a recent livestream, she took the opportunity to interact with viewers and share some personal updates.
However, not all the comments were kind. Then again, Kong didn't linger on those.
According to entertainment outlet Dimsum Daily, Kong had “quick, unflinching replies” when she encountered pointed remarks in the chat.
One comment she read began with, “I heard you’re very snide ...” She stopped reading and shot back, “... no need to hear it – your two eyes are watching,” before breaking into a broad smile and seemingly owning the label.
The exchange has since been shared online, with many netizens taking her side and praising her willingness to confront the remarks head-on rather than keep quiet.
Beyond putting rude commenters in their place, Kong, who turns 32 on Nov 4, also gave viewers an update on her work schedule.
She said she has a busy schedule that includes shooting a sitcom and rehearsing for a stage production.
Kong also spoke candidly about the need to keep working to pay her rent, saying she cannot rely on her parents for financial support.
Since leaving TVB, she has taken charge of her career and contracts, allowing her to explore opportunities beyond television.
In a previous interview, Kong said she wanted to step out of her comfort zone and try new things, including stage musicals, even if the pay was not particularly good.
