The president of the Malaysian Television Producers Association (PVTM) Datuk Jurey Latiff Rosli has expressed his concern over actors working multiple acting jobs at the same time.

"There are no restrictions when it comes to working two or three acting jobs concurrently but during these times, do consider the safety of other cast and crew members too," Jurey told Berita Harian.

"I don't want to put the blame on actors but they are able to go in and out of filming sets compared to the production crew members who only work on one set until a project is over."

He also reiterated the need for actors to take a swab test each time they enter a different filming set as "hopping from one set to another is very risky."

Jurey adds these precautions are important to avoid a Covid-19 cluster involving the creative industry.

Filming activities were prohibited during the very first MCO. The ban was lifted three months later on June 10.
