Shah Alam native Cheryl K may not have made it pass the audition rounds on American Idol but she's grateful for the opportunity to represent Malaysia.

"I am so humbled to be able to represent my home country, making this opportunity even more meaningful to me, and I hope that I can inspire people to reach for their dreams no matter where they’re from," she told StarLifestyle exclusively in an email interview.
