Malaysian film project wins RM60K award from Southeast Asia Fiction Film Lab

Malaysian film project Oasis Of Now was named as the winner of the US$15,000 (RM60,864) SEAFIC award at the end of the fourth edition of the Southeast Asia Fiction Film Lab on Monday (Jan 11).

The project, to be directed by Chia Chee Sum and produced by Lee Yve Vonn, is the story of a Vietnamese housekeeper living a secret life in Kuala Lumpur.
