Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun Fat recently made a rare public appearance with his Singaporean wife Jasmine Tan at the Hong Kong premiere of his latest film Cold War 1994.
The couple – married since 1987 – received thunderous applause as they arrived hand-in-in at the red carpet ceremony, held at the Xiqu Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui on Monday (April 27).
StarLifestyle, which was on site, noted that the pair was in good spirits as they posed for photos, exchanging affectionate smiles while making their way to the main stage.
As always, Chow remained his typically humble self despite the tight schedule, taking time to shake hands with fans and reporters, and even stop for selfies.

During the group photo session, he also stepped aside to give his centre position to his co-star Terrance Lau, saying the latter deserves to be in the spotlight as the film’s lead star.
Meanwhile, Malaysian actress Fish Liew – fresh off her Best Actress win at the 44th Hong Kong Film Awards – also turned heads on the red carpet.

The 36-year-old, who plays a minor role in Cold War 1994, drew enthusiastic cheers from the crowd as she struck multiple poses in a form-fitting evening gown.
Fans could also be heard loudly screaming her name, praising her beauty and elegance.
Other stars who were present at the ceremony include singer-actor Aaron Kwok, Best Actor winner Tony Leung Ka Fai, Hong Kong-American actor Daniel Wu and many more.

The latest flick serves as a prequel to the original films, tracing the rise of a younger MB Lee, while uncovering the early power dynamics and buried tensions that would eventually shape the saga’s central conflicts.
Cold War 1994 premieres at cinemas nationwide on May 1.
