Hong Kong actor Ray Lui is once again making headlines with his striking appearance.

The 69-year-old and his wife, Chinese businesswoman Yang Xiaojuan, recently attended the 45th birthday celebration of Cissy Wang, the wife of martial arts star Donnie Yen.

Photos from the evening showed Lui posing with Wang, as well as in several group shots with friends – and it didn't take long for his youthful looks to become the centre of attention.

Netizens couldn't help but marvel at how well the actor has maintained his features, with some saying he looks like someone in his late 30s rather than a man approaching his 70s.

Others also described him as having "AI-level" ageless visuals, pointing to his wrinkle-free skin, radiant complexion and fit physique.

Lui previously shared on social media the homemade beverage he swears by for keeping his appearance young and fresh.

The drink, which he calls the "detox energy soup", is made with 60g of celery, 70g of bitter gourd, 50g of carrot, 20g of apple and a quarter of a lemon.

"I drink it whenever I'm feeling tired. It helps me detox, boosts my metabolism, replenishes essential nutrients and restores my energy," he said at the time.
