Jeongyeon, a member of the popular K-pop girl group Twice, is experiencing psychological anxiousness concerning her work schedule said the group's agency JYP Entertainment in a statement on Oct 17.
Hence, the agency stated, she will not be participating in the group's promotional activities for its upcoming second full-length album Eyes Wide Open, as she will be on a temporary break to rest and get professional medical help.
News portal Yonhap printed part of the agency's statement. It read: "Jeongyeon is very anxious and nervous about the comeback schedule at this stage and we decided to have her stop all activities, after talking with the other members."
The other eight members of Twice will take on the promotional duties of the album which is scheduled to be out on Oct 26.
