This year’s Hari Raya was a unique one for singer Tajul Ariff.
Tajul said that he was unable to return to his hometown in Negeri Sembilan due to the conditional movement control orders currently in place.
This is also the first year that Tajul is celebrating Hari Raya as a father.
“This year’s Aidilfitri is really a special one for me as it is the first time I get to celebrate it with my daughter, ” he told mStar, The Star’s Malay-language portal.
“It’s too bad that I am unable to head back (to Seremban) due to the movement control order, but I don’t mind as it’s for the sake of my country and myself.”
However, the singer was fortunate enough to enjoy the festivities with relatives and in-laws who live in Kuala Lumpur.
With regards to being a first-time father, Tajul explained that taking care of his daughter, Adriana Carissa, was not too difficult. According to the singer, the six-month old rarely had tantrums – she only cries if she wanted milk at night.
Ariff and his wife, Nurul Shamieza Eddie, tied the knot in December 2017.
