Book lovers flock to KL Alternative Bookfest, KL Zine Fest also set to return

The 13th edition of the Kuala Lumpur Alternative Bookfest (KLAB), which opened yesterday at Central Market in Kuala Lumpur, has turned the tourist hub into a book lover's paradise.

The four-day KLAB, which runs until this Sunday, focuses on the local independent publishing scene. Over 60 book publishers and distributors are taking part in this year's festival (from 9am-8pm daily), featuring diverse programmes with storytelling and story-making at the forefront.
