IN CELEBRATION of Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026), homegrown ice cream brand Inside Scoop has introduced its “Rasa-Rasa Malaysia” collection.

Since opening in 2013, the brand has been on a journey to discover the flavours that define Malaysia.

The limited-time “Rasa-Rasa Malaysia” features six new flavours representing the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur, heritage corners of Melaka, historic sites of Johor, earthy landscapes of Kelantan, breezy highlands of Pahang and lush rainforest of Sarawak.

“Every state in Malaysia has a story and specific taste that defines ‘home’.

“We hope these flavours inspire your next trip to sample the local magic of our states firsthand,” said Inside Scoop co-founder Edmund Tan at the launch of the collection by Tourism Malaysia senior director (management) Wizani Rosmin.

The event at the outlet in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, also saw Wizani presenting a certificate of strategic partnership to Tan and fellow co-founder Lim Shiew Li.

According to a media release, “Rasa-Rasa Malaysia” uses authentic and essentially Malaysian key ingredients to create the six flavours.

Affogato is a nod to Johor’s coffee culture and tribute to Muar’s legendary Liberica “Elephant Bean” known for its bold aroma and intensity.

Dark Chocolate Banana spotlights Kelantan’s award-winning cocoa with 70% dark chocolate combined with pisang berangan for a decadent balance of bitter and sweet.

Dodol Musang King is rich and unapologetically indulgent with its chewy caramel soul of traditional dodol durian which Melaka is famous for.

Gula Apong Tiramisu pays homage to Borneo’s “Black Gold” with its thick ribbon of Sarawakian palm sugar bringing a unique and smoky caramel profile.

Moola Chocomalt Kaw Dinosaur is inspired by the over-the-top drink found at mamak restaurants across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

Strawberry Lemonade is a refreshing escape to the Pahang highlands with zesty lemon ice-cream blended with Cameron Highlands strawberries.

Customers can enjoy the flavours individually or take home the six-flavour pack for RM70, perfect for sharing the tastes of Malaysia with family and friends.

With every pack purchase, customers will also receive an “ice cream passport” to spur a visit to the many other Inside Scoop stores for a unique stamp.

“Rasa-Rasa Malaysia” is available until May 11.
