Enjoy a rose-tinted afternoon for breast cancer awareness


SIP tea and savour treats while supporting a good cause at Trace Restaurant and Bar, located on the 40th floor of Element Kuala Lumpur hotel.

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel is collaborating with Tilley, Australia’s oldest manufacturer of soap, scented soy candles and home-fragrance products, to present afternoon tea.

The set is curated by Trace’s culinary team and features six savoury delicacies and five rose-tinted sweets.

Highlights include Blinis with Raspberry Cream Cheese and Rose Infused Caviar, BBQ Pulled Beef Short Ribs Tortilla Wrap, Rose Panna Cotta with Strawberry Cream Cheese and Pink-Coated Red Velvet Popsicle.

A set for two is priced at RM148nett, inclusive of a pot of Dilmah tea.

Marriott Bonvoy members who order the set will receive exclusive gifts from Tilley worth up to RM110 with each set.

Guests can also opt to join Marriott Bonvoy on the spot to enjoy this gift.

Each set also comes with RM50 cash voucher for spa treatments at Serenity by Posh, a luxurious spa on the hotel’s 39th floor.

The “Pink Up The Skies” afternoon tea is available until Oct 31.

To raise breast cancer awareness and early detection, the hotel has joined forces with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Pink Unity, a support group for women cancer survivors under National Cancer Society of Malaysia, for an event featuring breast surgeon Dr Azlina Firzah and breast cancer survivors.

The hotel is also supporting the hospital’s campaign which offers subsidised breast screening packages from RM140, available until Dec 31.
