Mesiniaga secures RM32.3mil Customs contract

PETALING JAYA: Mesiniaga Bhd has secured a RM32.3mil contract from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department to provide maintenance services for hardware applications and renew the MyGST system licence.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the duration of the contract is 24 months, effective from Oct 16, 2026, and is to be completed by Oct 15, 2028.

“There is no automatic renewal clause in the contract,” it said.

Mesiniaga said the risks to the contract relate mainly to meeting the service level commitments and deadlines imposed by the customer.

“The company has taken the necessary steps to mitigate the risks.”

It added that the contract will not affect the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of the company.

“It is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 onwards until the completion of the contract,” said Mesiniaga.
