Caribbean fears EU golden passport fallout

FIVE tiny, sun-kissed Caribbean nations are bracing for a massive economic storm as Europe threatens to shut its doors over their sale of so-called golden passports.

Since 1984 more than 100,000 people have bought citizenship from the five countries – Grenada, Dominica, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, and Antigua and Barbuda – in large-part because they offer visa-free travel to the European Union (EU) and dozens of other countries.
