KUALA LUMPUR: Teladan Group Bhd
’s net profit jumped 42.4% to RM9.31mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), from RM6.54mil a year earlier.
Revenue rose 31% to RM88mil from RM67.18mil, while earnings per share rose to 1.12 sen from 0.79 sen.
“The resilient performance was mainly driven by higher progressive billings from ongoing developments including Taman Bertam
Heights Phase 2A2, Taman Gapam Perdana Phase 1B, Pusat Kormersial Bukit Intan and German Technology Park, which continued to record steady construction progress during the quarter.
“The group’s development portfolio also continued to see encouraging take-up, supporting the sustained momentum across its projects,” the property developer said in a statement.
For the first six months of 2026, Teladan’s net profit increased 49.6% to RM19.45mil from RM13.02mil in the corresponding period last year while revenue rose 39.1% to RM184.59mil from RM132.73mil.
Managing director Richard Teo Lay Ban said the group remained cautiously optimistic about Malaysia’s property sector, supported by infrastructure development, domestic consumption and demand for integrated developments.
“Against this backdrop, we will continue to widen our market reach, strengthen operational efficiency and build strategic partnerships,” he said.
Teo noted that affordability would remain a key focus while the group explores opportunities in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan to diversify its geographical presence.
Teladan recorded property sales of RM189.86mil in the first half, while unbilled sales stood at RM323.37mil as at June 30, providing revenue visibility for the second half of the year.
