Perdana Petroleum wins AWB contract


The company said the estimated contract value shall be in accordance with the work order award issued.

PETALING JAYA: Perdana Petroleum Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB), has secured a contract from Keyfield Serenity Sdn Bhd to charter an accommodation work barge (AWB).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Perdana Petroleum said the contract is for a period of 241 days with an option to extend for another 30 days, and is expected to commence from July 9, 2026.

“The estimated contract value shall be in accordance with the work order award issued.

“In view of the confidentiality and privacy clauses of the contract, the estimated contract value is not disclosed.”

The company said PNSB shall provide one AWB with crew and equipment to perform 24 hours service for the purpose of assisting and/or accommodation, lifting and offshore operations.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Perdana Petroleum group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 and 2027.”
