Econpile bags RM40mil building job


PETALING JAYA: Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a RM39.52mil contract from WCT Construction Sdn Bhd to undertake earthworks, bored piling and substructure works for a commercial development in Jalan Awan Besar, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Econpile said the project comprises four five-storey commercial shop blocks with 68 units, two levels of sub-basement parking, a commercial unit, a main switch station and a refuse chamber.

The project will be completed within 15 months from July 29, 2026. The project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the company from the financial year ending June 30, 2027 onwards. Econpile said there are no foreseeable risks other than operational risk associated with the project during the contract period.
