Hartanah Kenyalang wins RM41mil construction job

PETALING JAYA: Hartanah Kenyalang Bhd has secured a contract for the construction of multi-storey buildings and its ancillary buildings in Sarawak, worth RM41.38mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction firm said the contract was awarded by a company which is principally involved in the provision of construction services in Sarawak.

“The contract period is 36 months and the project is scheduled to commence in July 2026.”

The company said the contract will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the group and its subsidiaries.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial year ending Oct 31, 2026 and until the completion of the contract period.”

Hartanah Kenyalang added that the risks associated with the contract are mainly normal operational and execution risks, which the group would address with appropriate measures.
