KUALA LUMPUR: Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Tex Cycle (P2) Sdn Bhd, has entered into a collaboration agreement with Anggun Kitar Resources Sdn Bhd to strengthen its scheduled waste management capabilities through a strategic partnership.

In a statement, the waste management and recycling solutions provider said the collaboration will allow both parties to leverage each other's scheduled waste codes under the First Schedule of the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005.

This will enable them to manage a broader range of scheduled waste while expanding their customer reach and service capabilities.

Through this collaboration, both companies will also cross-refer suitable projects, share technical expertise and pursue operational opportunities by leveraging each other's market presence.

Tex Cycle group chief executive officer, Gary Dass Anthony Francis said the collaboration reflects its strategy to expand its scheduled waste ecosystem through partnerships with complementary industry players.

“By combining our respective scheduled waste codes, technical expertise and customer networks, we can broaden our service portfolio, create new business opportunities and support industries in meeting increasingly stringent environmental compliance requirements,” he said.

Meanwhile, Anggun Kitar director Lim Boon Chin said the partnership would enable both companies to leverage each other's strengths, capabilities and customer base to create greater value for clients while expanding into new business opportunities.
