Kerjaya Prospek wins RM529mil building project


PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, has accepted a contract valued at RM529.32mil from BRDB Developments Sdn Bhd for the construction of a project in Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with the stock exchange, the group said the contract includes the completion of eight blocks of residences totalling 146 units, two levels of car parks, two levels of basement car park, common facilities and a clubhouse.

The contract shall commence June 15, 2026, to be completed within 33 months.

According to Kerjaya Prospek, the contract is expected to provide an additional revenue stream for the next three years.

For its first quarter ended March 31, 2026, it posted a 24.5% increase in net profit to RM57.3mil from RM46mil in the previous corresponding quarter, despite revenue declining 5.3% to RM446.8mil from RM472mil previously.
