Country Heights CEO Mohd Rizal resigns

PETALING JAYA: Country Heights Holdings Bhd has announced that its chief executive officer (CEO), Mohd Rizal Zubair (55), has resigned “to pursue other personal interests.”

In a filing, the property developer clarified that Mohd Rizal’s resignation is not due to any disagreement with the board on matters relating to the group’s operations, policies, financial affairs, corporate governance, or any other matter that would require disclosure pursuant to the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia.

“The board further confirms that there are no material matters relating to the resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company.

“The group’s business operations and ongoing projects continue to operate in the ordinary course of business and remain unaffected by the resignation.”

Pending the appointment of a successor, Country Heights said day-to-day operations of the group will continue to be managed by the existing senior management team under the oversight and guidance of the board.

“The board has commenced the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the position of CEO and will make the necessary announcement in due course.

“The board remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and ensuring the continued execution of the group’s strategic objectives for the benefit of its shareholders and stakeholders.”

According to the company, Mohd Rizal was previously the group CEO of UKM Holdings Sdn Bhd from October 2022 to March 2026, where he oversaw investment holdings, healthcare, consulting and real estate businesses.
